Melo is Great No Matter What You Say
If you ask Carmelo Anthony what he would probably want right now he would probably say he would want to win an NBA championship. Right now Carmelo is stuck in New York right now dealing with an unorganized Knicks franchise. This offseason Carmelo said he would like to be traded to the Houston Rockets but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. It would be great if he went to Houston so he could play with other players that can score like James Harden and Chris Paul so he doesn't have to be pressured all the darn time.
But as the offseason continues Carmelo might be thinking to himself that he's actually fine with himself being in New York. He doesn't have to deal with Phil Jackson anymore and is guaranteed to make $124,064,681 no matter what happens. Besides he is playing in one of the richest and popular cities in America in New York City. Even though they haven't been to the playoffs in a while he's not really losing anything.
Carmelo has achieved a lot in his life. He is a ten time NBA All Star and he has played in every all star game he's been selected to. He has been named to the All-NBA Second team twice and he has been named to the All-NBA Third team four times. He has won three gold medals during the Summer Olympics. He has won a bronze medal during the Summer Olympics. He is the 2013 NBA Scoring Champion. He even won a National Championship with Syracuse in 2003.
Carmelo was drafted third overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets and became popular instantly. Throughout all 14 seasons in the NBA that Carmelo Anthony has played he's been to the playoffs ten times. He's been to the conference finals only once in his career and has never been to the Finals. He has scored an average of 24.8 points in his career and each of his 14 seasons he has scored at least an average of 20 points per game.
A lot of Carmelo Anthony fans might be upset that he has never been to the Finals and maybe never get a ring but what Carmelo has done in his NBA career has been absoultely phenomenal. That's why I can say confidently that Carmelo Anthony will go into the NBA Hall Of Fame and when he gets inducted he will automatically be in peace.
