2017 QB Projection Rankings 1-5

5. Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks)

Russell Wilson has started and played every game in his NFL career. It seems like no matter if Russell wins or loses he always has a good attitude. He is only 5-11 and their are not a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL that are below 6 foot. Everytime I watch Wilson play it always looks like he is having fun no matter if he's doing good or bad in a game. A lot of quarterbacks need to have the attitude that Russell has and need to stay positive. With the positive attitude Russell has he can get into the playoffs every season for the rest of his career. It's already a pretty good thing that he's made the playoffs in all five seasons he has been in the league. Russell and the Seahawks want to win their division again this year but they also want to have a first round bye in the playoffs. With Jimmy Graham, the addition of Eddie Lacy this offseason, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and The Legion of Boom this team has a chance to get back to the Super Bowl. Russell Wilson is projected to be ranked 5th going into this season because of the weapons he has, the positive attitude he has and the leadership he brings to the table.

4. Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons)

Matt Ryan was a beast last year by passing for 38 touchdowns last year and only throwing 7 interceptions last year. That is the most touchdown passes he has ever thrown in a season in his career and that is the least amount of interceptions he has thrown in a season in his career. Matt Ryan has a lot of weapons in his offense like Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu, Taylor Gabriel and Andre Roberts who the Falcons signed this offseason. Matt Ryan can be a true elite quarterback if he can get his team to win the NFC South again and get his team back to the Super Bowl. He has all the weapons on offense and their defense is pretty good with Courtney Upshaw leading the defensive line and Robert Alford and Marcus Trufant leading the secondary. With all the weapons Matt Ryan has he is projected to be ranked 4th going into this season and we all expect him to lead his team back to the Super Bowl.

3. Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders)

It's ashame that Derek Carr got injured against the Colts in Week 16 because the injury forced him not to play in the playoffs and a lot of us that they would go far. If Carr stayed healthy going into the playoffs he would've beat the Texans in Houston and and perhaps they would've beat the Patriots in Foxborough. Yeah that's right I think the Raiders could've beat the Patriots in the Divisional Round because Derek Carr knew how to lead his team to victory last year in all the games he did play. Derek Carr knew he got robbed by not being able to play in the playoffs and he's going to play even harder so he can get into the playoffs for himself. Carr is projected to be ranked 3rd going into this season because of the will he has to play in the playoffs for the first time in his career.

2. Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers)

Aaron Rodgers is entering the back nine of his career. Aaron Rodgers throws the football farther than any quarterback I've ever seen. Rodgers knows that if he can actually stay healthy for the nine more years that he wants to play that he can actually be one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks to ever play. He would still have to win a couple more Super Bowls in his career to make become one of the greatest but at this stage of his career he's willing to go all in. Rodgers is projected to be ranked 2nd going into this season because of how clutch he is and always knows he has a chance to go to the Super Bowl every year he plays.

1. Tom Brady (New England Patriots)

Tom Brady has a very good offense with one of the best tight ends in Rob Gronkowski, good wide receivers in Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan and Brandin Cooks and they also have another efficient tight end in Dwayne Allen. Tom Brady just turned 40 and doesn't want to stop playing football any time soon. He's been to the Pro Bowl 12 times, has been named MVP twice, has been named Offensive Player of the year twice, and I think I am forgetting something he did and I can't just figure it out. Uhhh..... Oh yeah he's won 5 SUPER BOWLS. He is the only quarterback ever in the World to win 5 Super Bowls. Tom Brady is projected to be ranked 1st going into this season because well he's the G.O.A.T.
