At Least The Royals Won The World Series In 2015

Well after watching the AFC Wild Card Game between the Titans and Chiefs I start to wonder what will happen for both of these teams in the future.

Once again Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs cannot win a playoff game at home. In Reid's tenture with the Chiefs his playoff record is 1-5 and 0-2 at home. The Chiefs were winning the game 21-3 at the half. When all of a sudden things started to collapse for the Chiefs. Now no doubt that when Travis Kelce got injured it might have hurt the Chiefs mentally because they realized that one of the most productive tight ends in the league, who has been making plays throughout the whole regular season, is injured and won't come back in the game.

I honestly believe that Titans SS Johnathan Cyprien purposely hit Kelce's head on purpose so he would not have to play for the rest of the game and not keep scoring touchdowns like he did earlier in the game. I would have Cyprien suspended or at least fine him because I honestly feel that he could've found a way with his body to not hit Kelce in the head. But I guess for Cyprien he maybe would not care because the Chiefs were not productive in the second quarter with Kelce gone and that helped the Titans a lot.

I think the Titans realized that they have all the capability in the world to beat the Chiefs in this game when the Titans started the second half for possessing the ball for almost eight straight minutes and scoring a touchdown when Marcus Mariota threw the football in the redzone and then it hit one of the Chiefs defenders and the ball was still in the air so Mariota caught the own ball he threw and ran it in for a touchdown. For me that was the key play that switched momentum.

I start to wonder if the Chiefs actually cared if they won this game. This gives the Chiefs a perfect excuse to get rid of Alex Smith and bring the Lord and Savior Patrick Mahomes ll. Remember Smith threw for two touchdowns and did not turn the ball over all in this game and it wasn't his fault really that he couldn't pass for at least 50 yards in the second half because it was the Titans that were just able to have long offensive drives. A lot of people that I talk to and a lot of people on sports televeision shows on ESPN and Fox Sports 1 think that Patrick Mahomes ll can do better at winning games in the NFL. I want to see Patrick go to New England, Pittsburgh or New Orleans and see how he does there. He played a Denver Broncos team in Week 17 which is straight up awful. Their defense has a tough time sacking other teams quarterbacks and their secondary commits too much penalties in my mind.

In my mind Albert Wilson should've caught the ball on fourth down late in the game but their is nothing the Chiefs could do now. I give a lot of credit to Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry for pulling up their big boy pants. They both knew that they had to step up their game in the most important game of their loves so far and they did that too. Henry rushed for 156 yards and had a rushing touchdown today. Henry knew DeMarco Murray would not play and he knew that the Titans coaching staff expected him to fill some big shoes and he did. Who knows maybe if Henry keeps performing well in the playoffs that he'll be the starting running back in Tennessee next year. If the Titans can actually go to Pittsburgh or even in New England and beat them in the AFC Divisional Round I'm telling you right now that a lot of Free Agents would be interested in playing for the Titans next year. This was a good game to watch and let's see if Mariota can win more games in the playoffs this postseason than Alex Smith in all five years that he has played for the Chiefs.
