This Is Going To Be Fun

The New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off in Super Bowl 52 on Sunday February 4th at 6:30 PM ET on NBC. This year’s Super Bowl will once again be another fun Super Bowl to watch. This year’s Super Bowl will be played in Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium. This is the same stadium where the Minnesota Vikings play. Justin Timberlake will perform at the Super Bowl 52 Halftime show. This is the first halftime show he has performed in since the Super Bowl 38 Halftime Show and had that incident on stage with Janet Jackson.

Nobody would have ever thought that Eagles QB Carson Wentz do so good for them in the regular season and get injured at the end of the regular season and then see Eagle backup QB Nick Foles lead them to 2 playoff wins and get to the Super Bowl. This is the first time the Eagles have gone to the Super Bowl since Super Bowl 39 in 2005 where they lost 24-21 against the New England Patriots. Patriots QB Tom Brady is trying to win two Super Bowls in a row for the first time since he won both Super Bowl 38 and 39.

The Patriots and Tom Brady will be trying to win their 6th Super Bowl and tie the Pittsburgh for most Super Bowl wins with 6. Eagles’ running back LeGarrette Blount and Defensive End Chris Long just last season won a Super Bowl with the Patriots and now this year both of them will go back to the Super Bowl again but this time with a different team and the Eagles. That honestly has been crazy for both Blount and Long. Kenny Britt, James Harrison and Brian Hoyer all joined the Patriots either in the middle of the regular season or at the end of the regular season. All three of their seasons got turned out and all three have a chance to win a Super Bowl. If James Harrison wins a Super Bowl with the Patriots that might have be one of the best football business move we’ve ever season in the middle of the season. Patriots WR Kenny Britt was on the Cleveland Browns and was on that team until late December. The Browns did not win a single game at all this season. Kenny is probably pretty happy to see that he went to the worst team to perhaps the best team in the NFL. Brian Hoyer was probably sitting in San Francisco sitting on the bench thinking to himself that he will never win a ring and then all of a sudden he gets traded to the team that he used to play for in the Patriots and has a chance to win his first Super Bowl as a backup.

Last year Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery said after his last game in Chicago that “ I guarantee you we’ll win the Super Bowl next year”. Everyone thought he was crazy because we all thought he was thinking he was going to try to win one with the Bears. But little did we know Alshon was trying to trick the media and probably knew he was leaving Chicago for free agency and choose a way complete better team in the Eagles.

Bill Belichick will coach his 8th Super Bowl as the Patriots head coach and Doug Pederson will coach his first ever Super Bowl. All the Eagles fans are hyped to see that their team is back in the Super Bowl and glad to see Nick Foles actually lead them to the “Promise Land”. Nick Foles was a complete stud in 2013 when he played 14 games and threw 29 touchdowns and even only throwing 2 interceptions in both the regular season and the postseason. It’s great to see him show the Eagles four years later that he could actually help get the Eagles to the Super Bowl.

Notable Patriots that are trying to win their first Super Bowl is Brandin Cooks, who played for the Saints last year, Ricky Jean Francois, who has been in the league for a while, David Harris and Stephon Gilmore. Star Eagles players such as Jay Ajayi, Brent Celek, Rodney McLeod and Nelson Agholor are trying to win their first Super Bowl as well. Eagles WR Torrey Smith and Strong Safety Malcolm Jenkins are trying to win their second Super Bowl. Torrey won his first in Super Bowl 47 with the Ravens and Jenkins won his first with the Saints in Super Bowl 44.

This year’s Super Bowl will once again be a lot of fun watch with a lot of funny commercials as well in between games.
