Moon Area Athlete: Nick Sebastian
Nick Sebastian is a senior this year who plays football and baseball for the Moon Area Tigers. Nick has not announced on social media which college he will be attending you so we do not know if he has chose a college cause he did he might have decided to not announce it online.
I can tell you however that Nick does deserve to play football in college at the D2 and perhaps even the D1 level. Sebastian is a wide receiver and a punter on the team. Just this past football season in his senior year Nick had 17 receptions for 312 yards. In his junior year Nick had 12 receptions for 170 yards. You might think to yourself that his receiving stats are good enough to play at a D3 school. And D3 colleges have noticed him. Just this past December Nick visited Washington and Jefferson college a D3 school in Pennsylvania. If he decided to go to school there he would be on the same team as All State running back Joey Koroly who is currently a Senior at Trinity High school and performed really well in his senior year.
What I want all of you reading this at home or at Starbucks to know is that Nick Sebastian should be playing D1 or at the least D2 football as a punter. Sebastian has to be one of the best punters in the WPIAL and I honestly believe that this man can go to a college like Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State or even West Virginia and punt there. If you watch videos from his HUDL profile you'll see what I'm talking about when I say that Nick Sebastian can punt. He is 6 foot 5 inches and has very strong legs as when he punts the football it goes and high and far.
Moon was 5-5 overall this past football season as they were 4-4 in section play. Moon beat some good teams this year such as West Allegheny and North Hills. Besides Sebastian the players on the Moon football team can play but is just not ELITE as some of the other football schools in the WPIAL and I think they know that too.

The link above is Sebastian's HUDL profile so you can watch videos of him punting and you can see how good he is at punting. I wish Nick could punt at the Division 1 level but we'll just see how it plays out.
