My Mans Is Not Going Far
Today Quadree Henderson became the third player from the Pittsburgh Panthers to join the Pittsburgh Steelers. James Conner and Matt Galambos are the other Pitt football players who are on the Steelers.
You might say that Henderson is having a great 2018 year as he is doing a good job selling his apparel and that he will now have the opportunity to play professional football with the Steelers.
While Quadree (aka Dree) was at Pitt he was a wide receiver, a running back, kickoff returner and a punt returner and he made a name for himself by showing how really dominant he was as a return specialist. The Steelers might perhaps use him mostly as a return specialist but could have him play wide receiver as well once in a while.
When running back James Conner was drafted by the Steelers last year his jersey was very popular as many people bought it quickly right after the draft. Perhaps his jersey was sold a lot because he played for the Pitt Panthers or something. James is a very nice person and the fact that he was strong enough and never gave up to beat his battle with cancer showed a lot of people that anything is possible and if you keep fighting and never give up that you can succeed.
I can see Quadree's jersey selling quickly as well in the city of Pittsburgh because he was so well liked during his tender with the Panthers. The man is just so explosive on punt and kickoff returns it is hard not to like him.
One day I was talking to some of my friends during study hall at school and we thought it would be super cool if Henderson was on the Steelers because everybody in the city would like him and the whole city basically knows him cause well... he played for the Panthers. We didn't actually think he would play for the Steelers because we thought he was going to get drafted by another team like the Seattle Seahwaks who was interested in Dree. Dree however was not selected during the draft but the Steelers did sign him after the draft and I am pretty sure that man is happy to know that a team in the Steelers, which is moving foward in the right direction, would want him.
Henderson twetted on Twitter on June 30th 2017 how "Getting Drafted One Day Will Be A Dram Come True! Just Wanna Take Care of MY Family & Move Them Out The Hood." The fact that his dream is coming true is pretty cool and if he can make a million dollars this NFL season he could easily move his family out of the poor area in which they live and Henderson would like that.
We will see how much of a difference Henderson can make on the field as everyone in the city of Pittsburgh is excited to see him play.
