Cavs vs. Celtics Game 7

Earlier this year I wrote an article about how I did not think in the slightest chance the Boston Celtics would go far with the season ending injury to Kyrie Irving. But now the Celtics are one game away from making the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010. I never would of thought Celtics players Terry Rozier and Jayson Tatum would be playing like they were 10 year veterans on a team.

If you have noticed every game that the Celtics and Cavs have won this Eastern Conference Finals series that they have won their games at home and Game 7 is in Boston today. When the Celtics played the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals the Celtics won all 4 games at home and the Bucks won all 3 of their games at their home arena as well. So you just have to wonder if the situation with the Bucks and Celtics series is going to be exactly the same with the Cavs and Celtics series.

LeBron James has been a straight up basketball God for the Cavaliers. LBJ has averaged 33.9 PPG this playoffs and that's way too impressive. The NBA MVP award for this season would be won by the player that was the best for the regular season but if there was ever a NBA Playoffs MVP award for the whole postseason, not the FINALS, then LeBron would win the award this year unanimously.

I am kind of surprised that this series has gone 7 games because this has to be the worst supporting cast of players that LeBron has ever played with in the playoffs. But the fact that he is one win away from going to his eighth straight NBA Finals appearance and ninth all time.

The Celtics have come through so much adversity this postseason that they are probably not worried about Game 7 today. If they could beat the Bucks and the 76ers already and have won three games against the Cavs already this series without their two superstars then they will find a way to win Game 7.

Celtics player Jayson Tatum is only 20 years old and is not even close to be being in his prime yet. I am telling you that in at least three years this man is going to win NBA MVP. I think Tatum plays so well is because he knows when you are playing on a very well praised franchise in the Celtics that you have to be great.

There will be some NBA free agents that would want to play in Boston next year because they want to be playing with a team that is bright for the future. No matter what the outcome is for the Celtics is this postseason this is the team that everybody is most looking forward to next season and years after that. Yes I think Boston has a lot more to look forward to in the future than the Warriors, Rockets and 76ers.

LeBron has single handedly carried the Cavs the whole postseason. Nothing will stop LBJ from scoring 40 points again today in Game 7 and helping his team reach the Finals. Just think about it if LeBron wins a championship in Cleveland this year there is no way that man is leaving the Cavs cause the Cavs would actually pay him for however much money he wants and a lot of NBA free agents would have to want to Cleveland and get paid a little bit less because if LeBron can win a championship basically by himself imagine what he would do with other superstars around him.

This Game 7 is going to be fun to watch as either LeBron James or Al Horford will represent their team from the Eastern Conference in the 2018 NBA Finals.
