I Admit that I Have Too Much Respect For Him
Golden State Warrior point guard Stephen Curry won his third NBA championship on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, as the Warriors swept the Cavs in four games.
After watching Curry win his third ring yesterday I realized that I was not the biggest fan of Curry because his Warriors always beat my Cavs and the fact that Curry is an extremely better three point shooter than LeBron James. When I saw Stephen Curry hit that three point shot after making contact with Cavs shooting guard J.R. Smith I was amazed as Curry keeps making baskets that should not go in. I feel that if J.R. Smith bumped Stephen Curry ten times in a row while Curry is shooting a long 3 point attempt that Curry could make it 6/10. I also feel that is J.R. Smith bumped any other NBA BASKETBALL PLAYER ten times in a row trying to shoot a three point basketball they would make it at the most 3/10. So you know what I am trying to say right?
I think Stephen Curry is the best three point shooter in the game and I hate him so much because LeBron can never hit insane three point baskets and not shoot 70 straight 3 point baskets unlike Curry who can do that.
Now LeBron is better at Curry when it comes to driving to the basket and dunking the ball but a lot of NBA players can do that. But even though a lot of players can do that James is one of the best at doing that. But what a lot of NBA players cannot do that Curry can specifically can is hit make three point shots.
LeBron has had more clutch and more game winning shots that LeBron has had in the past five years and I realized why. The past five years LeBron has had to do most of the work on his team whether he was playing with the Heat or the Cavs. Curry has not had to make many game winning baskets and clutch baskets late in games because he has had a good supporting cast that helps the Warriors get big leads and can make clutch shots as well like Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Klay Thompson and the big addition the Warriors added in 2016 in Kevin Durant.
LeBron has only had one player that he has played with in the past five years that can back him up once in a long while and that was Kyrie Irving. People keep comparing LeBron to Michael Jordan but I think today we have to realize that we have to compare Michael Jordan to someone else. And the person we should compare MJ to is Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry is 3-1 in the Finals in his career while LeBron is 3-6 in the Finals in his career. When Curry and the Warriors lost to the Cavs in the Finals in 2016 the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead and if the Warriors would've kept playing their game in Games 5, 6 and 7 and not focus on Draymond Green getting suspended in Game 5 the Warriors could have won that series and we would all be talking about the Warriors winning the title for four straight years in a row.
All I can tell you is that when Stephen Curry is playing in the NBA Finals he is not getting blown out in series' unlike LeBron who got swept by the Spurs in 2007, being swept by the Warriors in 2018, losing 4-1 to the Spurs in 2014 and losing to the Warriors 4-1 in 2017.
The Warriors are becoming a dynasty and if they all stay together no team will be stopping anytime soon. With this championship win against the Cavs this season, Kevin Durant and Zaza Pachulia now has 2 rings, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Klay Thompson have 3 rings and Nick Young finally has a ring after spending years with the Lakers, Clippers, 76ers and Wizards.
I hate Stephen Curry but I respect him because of the three point shooting that will always make him better and more valuable than LeBron. Stephen knows how to rings and I think does a better job winning them than LeBron does.
