School: West Mifflin Sport: Football Position: Free Safety, Cornerback and Running back. Class: Senior Claim To Fame: Parrish Parker committed to Howard University back on August 2nd 2018. He has rushed for a total of 903 yards in his WPIAL career. On defense, Parker has had a total of 8 interceptions in his WPIAL career. He had three forced fumbles last season in 2017. Overall, Parrish has scored a total of 11 touchdowns in his WPIAL career.

What are the expectations for West Mifflin for this upcoming football season?

"As always, Heinz Field."

How nice it is living so close to a fun place in Kennywood?

"It’s okay; I have not been there so much; it’s nothing now."

You also play basketball and track. How do you find a way to play three sports throughout the school and still manage to keep up with your school work?

"Just stay focus and basically have good time management."

How do you feel being a Senior this year?

"It’s crazy and exciting knowing I'm going to be a college student athlete next year."

Which class are you looking forward to the most this year?

"Psychology"

You committed to Howard Univeristy. What did you like about Howard University when you visited there?

"The coaches and just the culture."

In 2019, Hollis Mathis, Terry Smith, Todd Hill, Rodney Dennard, Quinton Hill, Anthony Young, Kazeon Pugh and yourself will all football together at Howard. How cool is it for you to represent the WPIAL at Howard Univeristy? Do yoy maybe think the fact that all you guys came from the WPIAL will strengthen your bond with one another?

"Yeah it definitely will. When I get to Howard it's going to be real dangerous for whoever we play."

In your freshman and sophomore year of football you wore the number 24. Then, last season in your Junior year you decided to change your number to 7. What made you change your number?

"I wanted a single digit. Also, that I had family member that wore the number 7 in high school for West Mifflin that had a legacy at West Mifflin."

Which school do you think West Mifflin has the biggest rivalry against when it comes to sports?

"Thomas Jefferson."

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

"I like to listen to soft music."
