Washington won the 2A WPIAL football championship last season. Knowing that they were just recently WPIAL champions, did that make your team want to beat them even more?

Geno Pellegrini: "Yes it did. It gave us a drive to compete even harder."

What is special about your football team this season?

GP: "There isn’t really much special. We have guys that are willing to give an arm up for each other and for this team. We are a family that will fight for each other to the end result no matter how tough they or it is."

I feel that since your stats could be better if you played against Moneseen. How upset were you that your Week 0 game against Monessen was cancelled?

GP: "It’s would have been a very fun game to play in for sure. And I was very upset, but what happened has happened and we moved on from it."

In your WPIAL football career, who is the toughest team that your team has ever faced?

GP: "Washington High"

Who is you favorite NFL quarterback?

GP: "Tom Brady"

GP: "Baseball"

What did you think when you heard about the story about Laurel football player Hayden Hamilton?

GP: "It was very sad and I wish him and his family a healthy future."
