Grind Doesn't Stop For This Man

Ezekiel M. Daure is a senior in high school this year. He attends Keystone Oaks high school, plays football at the running back position and is one of the most dominant and most efficient running backs in the WPIAL right now.

The Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles are 3-0 and one of the big reasons that they are 3-0 so far is because of the awesome amount of production that their running back, Daure, has produced on the football field. Daure has rushed for 817 yards (leads the WPIAL) and has scored 17 touchdowns in the first three games of the season. He has rushed for an average of 272 yards throughout the first three games. That's pretty impressive; especially for the high school level.

It is very likely that he will rush for 1,000 yards this season. Daure rushed for 1,134 yards last season and he is on pace for rushing more than 1,134 yards by the time the regular season ends.

Every single WPIAL football team has at least one player on their team that is very popular, very productive and is considered the main piece of the team. Daure has to be considered the most popular player on his team, he is the most productive statistically, and is the main player on the team that gives the rest of his teammate's confidence to win games.

Before the regular season started, there were not many people from the media that thought that Keystone Oaks were going to be great and have a shot in making a deep postseason run. But, now they do; thanks to Daure.

If anyone has ever told you that a football team cannot be good just because of one player, they are wrong. The production of Daure makes the whole Golden Eagles football team better and the whole team knows that and they are fine with it.

If Daure is able to keep rushing for a lot of yards and score touchdowns, the Golden Eagles will make the playoffs and they will be favorites to win the WPIAL football championship in 3A. Also, if Daure continues to keep up the good work, the Golden Eagles will have a shot to beat Aliquippa, Beaver Falls and Quaker Valley. I am also positive that going into this season that not many people from the media would have Keystone Oaks beating those three teams.

Keystone Oaks is the surprise team in 3A and because of Daure they will be the reason more people will go to Golden Eagles' football games and the reason more people will pay attention to them for the rest of the season.
