Kruze completed 15 passes out of 22 attempts, threw for 200 yards and threw 2 touchdowns in the game against Bethel Park. The West Allegheny Indians defeated Bethel Park 36-35. West A's record is now 2-0 overall this season.

Before that 2-point conversion play, were you nervous at all if you were going to mess up the play and not win the game?
Kam Kruze: "Not too nervous. We always had a time out if I didn’t like it."
You guys have always been considered favorites in your section for decades. What do you think makes West Allegheny's football team so good?
KK: "The want from every player and the thought of letting each other down."
Give me a saying that coach Palko says a lot?
KK: "Do all the little things right."
You also play linebacker. Is it hard playing two positions?
KK: "No, it is fun.
Do you play any other sports for West A?
KK: "Yes I do; Basketball and track."
Everyday during the school year, when you wake up in the morning, what is your go-to breakfast food?
KK: "Eggs and milk."
If you could eat dinner with any person in the world, who would you choose to eat dinner with?
KK: "The Boz."
Who is your favorite NFL quarterback and NFL linebacker?
KK: "Quarterback- Dak Prescott. Linebacker- TJ Watt."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
KK: "Not too sure yet."
What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?
KK: "I really like cereal."
