What We Learned From Each NFL Game In Week 2

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, number 15, Patrick Mahomes ll scored 6 touchdowns against the Steelers in Week 2. The Chiefs were able to win the game 42-37.

Ravens- Bengals: What we learned from this game is that the Cincinnati Bengals are ready to change this season. A.J. Green was a monster in the first quarter. To be honest, A.J. might have played the best quarter that any wide receiver has ever played in a quarter in NFL history. Joe Flacco still needs to get some things straight. But, there is no way we should see Lamar Jackson or Robert Griffin lll start as quarterback for the Ravens anytime soon.

Panthers-Falcons: What we learned from this game is that the NFC South is the best division. There are 4 teams in that division that are so good. The Panthers the Falcons were battling the whole game; but, the Falcons got the last laugh. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan played well.

Colts-Redskins: What we learned from this game is that we should expect to see Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton have an incredible season this year. Hilton has been productive in the first two weeks of the season. It has been a while since we have seen Hilton played two good back-to-back games. We also learned that we have to feel bad for Redskins quarterback Alex Smith. Smith does not have any good wide receivers this season. I would not be surprised if the Redskins finish last in their division this season; but, it would not be Alex Smith's fault.

Texans-Titans: What we learned from this game is that Houston needs to improve way more than people think. Texans quarterback, DeShaun Watson, has now fallen back down on Earth as he is realizing that he needs to put in more work to be in the conversation of being a good quarterback. The fact that the Texans gave up a fake punt for a touchdown and let the Titans backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert roll over their defense is not funny at all. It's actually really concerning. Should Gabbert get the start over Marcus Mariota in Week 3?

Eagles-Buccaneers: What we learned from this game is that the Buccaneers are good. I would not be surprised if the Bucs go 11-5 and win the NFC South. You know how the Rams were the surprise team last season? Well, I expect the Bucs to be the Rams of last year. Ryan Fitzpatrick has two good wide receivers in Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson. What I think Fitzpatrick is good at doing is making use out of those two wide receivers and does a better job doing that Jameis Winston did. Even though the Eagles lost one game, we should not worry that they will fall apart. Carson Wentz will come back in Week 3 and Nick Foles will be the backup quarterback.

Chiefs-Steelers: What we learned from this game is that the Kansas City Chiefs are enjoying Patrick Mahomes lll starting at quarterback instead of former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith. The Chiefs have might have the most explosive offense in the league. The Steelers defense could be considered one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Some people might think that the Steelers are not doing well because running back Le'Veon Bell is not there; but, the fact is James Conner is playing well for the Steelers and the defense is not making important stops when they need to.

Dolphins-Jets: What we learned from this game is that the Dolphins are an average team. I would not be surprised if they go 8-8 this season. What is actually funny about the Jets this season is the Jets can continue to not play well; but, they will keep getting fans to come to the games because they have players that are young and have some talent.

Chargers-Bills: What we learned from this game is that I expect the Buffalo Bills to have the worst record in the NFL this season. The Bills are making terrible transactions lately by trading Tyrod Taylor, trading A.J. McCarron and letting Nate Peterman start as QB for the Bills in Week 1. Hey, at least the Chargers won a game that they were supposed to win.

Vikings-Packers: What we learned from this game is that the NFC North is up for grabs between the Packers and the Vikings. Both teams are good and I did not think the Vikings would continue to play well with Kirk Cousins as their starting quarterback. I kind of wish Dalvin Cook did better. If Dalvin Cook played better, the Vikings would be in the conversation for the best offense in the league. Oh yeah, Stefon Diggs continues to keep making clutch plays in his life. Diggs scored the game winning touchdown in the Divisional playoff game against the Saints last season and he caught the two-point conversion pass to force the Vikings and Packers game in overtime last week.

Browns-Saints: What we learned from this game is that the Saints might actually fall a little. The Saints lost to the Buccaneers in Week 1 and the Saints should have lost to the Browns in Week 2. It's too bad that kicker Zane Gonzalez is having a hard time kicking game winning field goals.

Lions-49ers: What we learned from this game is that the 49ers are back from where they started in the middle of last season and that they are ready to try to be a good NFL team. The Lions are just not able to win games and they have a good amount of talent on their roster.

Cardinals-Rams: What we learned from this game is that the Rams have the best defense in the league. If you have the Rams defense on your fantasy football team, you might win your Fantasy league because that defense will give you the points. The Cardinals will probably have one of the worst records in the league this season. Too bad, the Cardinals might not give their wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald good talent around him. David Johnson is getting paid big money and he is not playing like one of the highest paid running backs in the league. I know we have only played 2 weeks of NFL football so far; but, I just want to see David Johnson play football like a monster and not an actual human being.

Patriots-Jaguars: What we learned from this game is that the Jaguars wanted to beat the Patriots so bad that none of us realized it. Keelan Cole played well for the Jaguars in this game. Rob Gronkowski disappointed a lot of Fantasy teams and Tom Brady apparently does not like Bill Belichick anymore.

Raiders-Broncos: What we learned from this game is that Denver might be that team in the AFC that will sneak into the playoffs as a wild card. I really like Denver. If Denver continues to keep playing well defense then their offense will have confidence and find a way to win a lot more games. I think the Raiders are still hurt mentally with Khalil Mack gone.

Giants-Cowboys: What we learned from this game is that the media should not be focusing on these two teams that much. If you look at a lot of sports websites, they will talk about Barkley, Beckham Jr., Eli Manning, the whole Giants team, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Jerry Jones and the whole Cowboys team. The media should pay more attention and write more stories about the good NFL teams that are not located in popular cities like Kansas City, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Carolina or Minnesota. I am tired reading stories about the Giants and the Cowboys because they are not playing at a high level than a lot of teams. They are talked about a lot because they are located in New York and Dallas, I guess that people love living in New York and Dallas though because both cities have a lot of money.

Seahawks-Bears: What we learned from this game is that the Seahawks will have a record below .500 and the Bears might find a way to have a record that is .500 by the end of the season. The Bears enjoy having Khalil Mack on their team and Mack enjoys playing for the Bears. So, basically it turned out to be a good ending for Mack and the conflict he had with the Raiders organization.
