Questions And Answers

What did you guys do right in the win over Western Beaver?

Todd Hill: "We came out the gate playing physical and with speed."

There are a lot of good teams in 2A this year and the playoffs are just around the corner. What do you guys need to do make sure that no one stops you guys from achieving your dreams in a WPIAL championship?

TH: "We need to all work together, stay on are grind, stay focus and take it game by game."

Describe to me the football culture at Steel Valley.

TH: "It’s a winning culture and a physical culture."

Back in August, you decided to commit to Howard University. What made you decide to commit there?

TH: "When I visited there, it just felt like home and the coaching staffs are great. They understand how I came up and how it is to be in my shoes."

In 2019, Hollis Mathis, Terry "Tank" Smith, Parrish Parker, Rodney Dennard, Quinton Hill, Anthony Young, Kazeon Pugh and yourself will all play football together at Howard. How cool is it for you to represent the WPIAL at Howard Univeristy? Do you maybe think the fact that all you guys came from the WPIAL will strengthen your bond with one another?

TH: "Yes it will strengthen are bond for sure and it feels great knowing that we all are going down there and balling together. In a few years Howard’s going to be a great team."

In college, would you rather want to play football at the running back position or at the linebacker position?

TH: "Wherever the coach needs me."

Who is your NFL favorite player? And, why?

TH: "Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers) because he’s a game changer on the field and off."

Which school do you think Steel Valley has the biggest rivalry against when it comes to sports?

TH: "Riverside"

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

TH: "I can do a backflip."
