2018 NFL Midseason MVP's

Todd Gurley ll is a big time playmaker for the Los Angeles Rams

In my opinion, this is my list of all the midseason MVPs for each NFL team after Week 8.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: Kyle Williams (DT), Week after week, it doesn't matter who the Bills play; Kyle Williams will give forth all of his effort to try and help this Bills team win each and every game. He is a player that the media does not talk about a lot and he is a big reason why the Bills are able to do things on defense. He seems to be a more valuable piece to the team than LeSean McCoy and any of the Bills quarterbacks.

Miami Dolphins: Frank Gore (RB), Frank is ranked 21st in the NFL in rushing yards and he is 35 years old. If he is not the Dolphins midseason MVP, then I do not know who is.

New England Patriots: Tom Brady (QB), I like the way Josh Gordon has been playing since he joined New England. I have not been liking Rob Gronkowski's low stats and the fact that he has been missing games due to injury. Their running back Sony Michel could be a future starting running back for the team; but, Tom Brady is this team's midseason MVP. He is the man that is able to make the whole Patriots team have confidence.

New York Jets: Isaiah Crowell (RB), Sam Darnold has been playing like an average quarterback; but, I wouldn't say he is this team's midseason MVP. Crowell has rushed for 484 yards that is 11th in the NFL. He has an opportunity to rush for at least 1,000 yards. He also has been helping Fantasy football teams as he can also catch the ball.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: Eric Weddle (FS), I like the way Weddle has been playing this season. He has a total of 33 tackles this season and it seems that he is really comfortable in the Ravens secondary. Don't worry though, I see the impact that John Brown and Alex Collins have on the Ravens offense too.

Cincinnati Bengals: AJ Green (WR), I don't need to bring up statistics to tell you that AJ is the reason why the Bengals win games. Who was that guy, for the Bengals, that made the crucial catches in order for Randy Bullock to have a shot to kick the game winning field goal, which he did? AJ Green was the guy. I like the way Tyler Boyd has been playing for the Bengals; but, AJ is still the number one wide receiver and still the number one player on the Bengals.

Cleveland Browns: Baker Mayfield (QB), The fact that Baker is on the football field makes the other Cleveland Browns football players want to try to win games and that is a good sign for the future.

Pittsburgh Steelers: James Conner (RB), James Conner is a flat out monster who is proving to the Steelers that he can be just as good as Le'Veon Bell and can be even more valuable than Le'Veon Bell. Conner's 599 rushing yards, throughout the first 7 games of the season, is very impressive. Fantasy owners that have Conner have to be very happy, as well.

AFC South

Houston Texans: DeAndre Hopkins (WR), The whole Texans team is playing good this season; but, the fact that DeAndre Hopkins is still making big time plays for the Texans is the reason why Houston is on top of their division. Hopkins is a player that makes the whole Houston Texans team want to win.

Indianapolis Colts: Eric Ebron (TE), I like the fact that Andrew Luck is throwing the football to Ebron a lot. Ebron is showing more of his value, there in Indianapolis, than he did when he was in Detroit. Eric Ebron's play this season is what making T.Y. Hilton realize that he needs to step up because Ebron has played more games, has had more reps and has not gotten injured, unlike Hilton. Ebron has recorded 7 touchdowns, so far this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Telvin Smith (OLB), Telvin has recorded a total of 65 tackles. Telvin's toughness and willingness, on defense, is the reason why the Jaguars defense are not straight up trash. Now, their whole defense can play at a higher level; but, Telvin has been playing some good football, lately.

Tennessee Titans: Corey Davis (WR), We all know Corey Davis has some talent and we all know that every game he is getting better. In a couple of years Davis might be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. His 395 receiving yards are pretty good for the fact that Marcus Mariota seems to be an inconsistent quarterback.

AFC West

Denver Broncos: Phillip Lindsay (RB), Lindsay came out of nowhere as he has a total of 531 rushing yards in the first eight games of the season for the Broncos. Lindsay is realizing that his quarterback, Case Keenum, needs help so Lindsay is deciding to step up his game and get more reps. We all would believe that Lindsay will be the starting running back for next season, no matter what happens for the Broncos for this season.

Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes ll (QB), Mahomes ll is the best statistical quarterback, so far this season. Mahomes ll likes to play in tough situations and intense moments. That's the reason why he is so good and because of that, no one would be surprised if Kansas City makes the AFC championship and perhaps even make it to the Super Bowl.

Oakland Raiders: Jared Cook (TE), Jared Cook is trying to play some good football; but, the rest of the media and the fans are not focusing on that. Instead, they are focusing on Jon Gruden's bad coaching, the fact that Khalil Mack is gone, the way Derek Carr has been playing and the fact that Marshawn Lynch is being injured. It is not fun to be an Oakland Raiders fan, for now.

Los Angeles Chargers: Melvin Gordon (RB), So far this season, Melvin has missed a couple of games. When Gordon gets on the football field, he becomes a total monster as he can score touchdowns and bring confidence to the rest of the Chargers football team.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott (RB), It seems that the media and no one is talking about Elliott's domestic violence incident. That is a good thing as everybody is now focusing on the impact that he has on the Cowboys. His 619 rushing yards are very good and if he keeps playing at a high level, the Cowboys will have a shot at the playoffs for the whole season.

New York Giants: Saquon Barkley (RB), Saquon gets a lot of Fantasy points and he is showing the whole country why he should be paid more money that OBJ and Eli Manning. Barkley has recorded a total of 1,016 yards, this season. This shows that Barkley is a good multi position football player.

Philadelphia Eagles: Zach Ertz (TE), Ertz is a good tight end and I would not be surprised if next year, he becomes better than Rob Gronkowski. Ertz has a total of 644 receiving yards and has scored 3 total touchdowns, this season.

Washington Redskins: Alex Smith (QB), Alex Smith does not need to throw 250 yards in a game to help his Redskins win games. He might not help your Fantasy football team get a lot of points; but, his team is 5-2 and for another straight season, he continues to not turn the football over. So far this season, he has only threw 2 interceptions. Smith is the real deal and he really does win games like he is a top 10 quarterback. You know what, if you say that Alex Smith is a top 10 quarterback, then I'll be fine with that.

NFC North

Chicago Bears: Khalil Mack (OLB), Mack has a total of 5 sacks, so far this season. He is the reason why the Bears defense has been playing better and the reason why Mitchell Trubisky has been playing better. This team has a shot of having a .500 record by the end of the season. That would be something that Bears fans can be happy about.

Detroit Lions: Kerryon Johnson (RB), So far this season, Johnson has had some explosive runs. Johnson has total of 466 rushing yards and has showed the community of Detroit that he should be the starting running back for next season, no matters what happens to them at the end of the season.

Green Bay Packers: Davante Adams (WR), Sometimes, Aaron Rodgers throws the football in some bad coverage. Davante Adams make sure that he catches the balls thrown by Aaron Rodgers so Aaron does not look like a bad quarterback. Davante can get people Fantasy points and he does have the ability to make important catches and make unbelievable catches. Davante seems to be a good catch and run wide receiver.

Minnesota Vikings: Adam Thielen (WR), So far this season, Thielen has a total of 925 receiving yards in the first 8 games of the season. Thielen is on pace to have at least 2,000 receiving yards for this season. Thielen is a monster as in the first 8 games of the season, he has totaled at least 100 receiving yards in a game. He is the best wide receiver in the game, as of now.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons: Julio Jones (WR), You all better shut up if you talk about Julio not scoring touchdowns for the Falcons during this season. Julio is the reason why the Falcons travel down the field on offense. To be honest with all of you, Julio seems to be getting more positive attention not scoring touchdowns than when he did score touchdowns. Julio has a total of 812 receiving yards in the first 7 games of the season. Let's see if Julio can get to 1,000 receiving yards and not score any touchdowns. That would be really cool.

Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton (QB), So far this season, Cam does not have amazing stats; but, what he has done good this season is leading his team to victories. Cam Newton is slowly starting to act more mature as his team has a chance in winning the NFC South. He has a good defense, a good running back and wide receivers that want to play the game of football.

New Orleans Saints: Drew Brees (QB), In the first 7 games of the season, Brees has only thrown 1 interception. That is pretty good due to the fact that he throws the football a good bit. Brees seems to be calm because he has two running backs in Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram ll. Brees likes the fact he has running backs that can take the load of pressure off of him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ryan Fitzpatrick (QB), Out of all the Buccaneers players, it is the most fun to watch Fitzpatrick play for the team. Ryan is such an interesting person as he knows how to have a lot of fame, he knows how to dress and knows how to grow a beard. Ryan plays at his best when nobody expects him to play at his best. It would've been incredible if he could pulled off the win against Cincinnati in Week 8.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals: Chandler Jones (DE), So far this season, Chandler has recorded a total of 6.5 sacks. Chandler is a force on defense and it is fun to watch him play, even when the rest of the Cardinals team cannot play at a high level.

Los Angeles Rams: Todd Gurley ll (RB), So far this season, Todd has rushed for 800 yards. Todd is a great Fantasy football player and he is so close to be considered the G.O.A.T. I do respect the fact that Penn Hills native, Aaron Donald, has recorded a total of 10 sacks during the first 8 games of the season.

San Francisco 49ers: George Kittle (TE), No one talks about how good George Kittle is. Kittle's 692 receiving yards are really impressive due to the fact that he has no elite quarterbacks throwing him the football. There is no doubt in my mind that at the end of the season, the 49ers will name Kittle their MVP.

Seattle Seahawks: Russell Wilson (QB), Wilson could care less which wide receivers, tight ends, running backs and offensive lineman that he has on his team. If Russell Wilson has other football players around him, he will find a way to win games. He does not even care how tall he is. As long as he has two arms and two legs, like the other NFL quarterbacks, he will play like a good quarterback. The dude is very good when it comes to staying healthy. Some people had Seattle to only win 6 games this season. They have won 4 games in the first 7 games that they have played. The Seahawks are a team that might be 9-7 and not make the playoffs; but, we should just all know that with Wilson on the team that they are not even close to trash.
