Questions And Answers

What did you guys do right in the win over North Hills?

Caleb Lisbon: "We came out hard. We knew that they were gonna do the same; so, we all played with some extra heart and established a dominance up front."

On Friday, you guys will play Peters Township in the second round at West Mifflin High School. What does your team have to do to make sure you beat them?

CL: "Peters Township is a good team. It’s gonna come down to the big plays, creating them on offense and stopping them on defense. Just play soundly on all 3 fazes of the game like we have been."

Your team started 0-2 to begin the season. Ever since you guys lost to Gateway, your team has won 9 games in a row. Tell me how you guys changed since you lost to Gateway.

CL: "Our whole team took those loses to the heart. So, we decided we didn’t want to feel like that again and changed the way we did everything. More uptempo and hard practices followed by some great leadership put us where we are now."

Describe to me the football culture at Penn-Trafford high school.

CL: "We want to win. No one cares how we do it or what makes it happen it just needs to be done. Blood, sweat, and tears are put out there on the field each and every day. Also, it’s a next man up mentality. No matter who you are, the expectations do not change, just do your job."

What is it like playing two positions in running back and strong safety?

CL: "It’s a whole lot of fun. Running the ball has been a love of mine since I’ve started playing at 7 years old. Playing defense is extremely electrifying; I mean who doesn’t love to run around and hit people."

Which school do you think Penn-Trafford has the biggest rivalry against when it comes to sports?

CL: "Norwin"

If you are given a $200 gift card for a store or restaurant. Where would you want it to be from?

CL: "H&M"

What do you think the Pittsburgh Steelers record will be, once the regular season ends?

CL: "11-4-1"

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

CL: "I am allergic to most fruits. The only ones I can actually eat without any reaction are bananas, watermelon, and strawberries."
