Questions & Answers

What are the expectations for Seton LaSalle's football team in 2019?

Max Schipani: "We plan on winning some football games and making a solid run in the playoffs. Our main goal is to bring a WPIAL championship back to Seton LaSalle."

You were named "1st Team All-Conference" Defensive Back in 2018. What did that honor mean to you?

MS: "It was a tremendous honor and it meant a lot to me. However, I’d rather be known for winning a championship with my teammates."

Besides football, what are other hobbies that you do?

MS: "The other hobbies I like to do is to hang out with my buddies on the football team. I’m a big jokester; so, I like making people laugh."

If you had to choose one other WPIAL football to come play for Seton LaSalle, next season, who would it be and why?

MS: "That’s a very good question. I’d have to say my boy AJ Beatty (Central Catholic, Class of 2020). We both grew up in Bethel Park and played youth ball together; so, I’d have to say him."

Who do you think is the funniest person at your school? And, why?

MS: "I’d like to say I’m a pretty funny guy; but if I had to choose someone else it would be my man, Ethan Dursi."

Favorite person to follow on social media?

MS: "My favorite person to follow on twitter is for sure OJ Simpson. He’s funny to me for no reason."

Did you go on any vacations this summer?

MS: "Unfortunately this year, I did not go on any vacations. I will be going on vacation during Christmas time."

When you get on the football field this season, what do you want people to think of you when you are playing hard for your team?

MS: "I want people to know who they are going up against. I’m very confident in my play and I love to show that on the field. Some people hate it and that fuels my play. I love being hated, it doesn’t bother me at all."

Tell me something that people would be surprised to know about you.

MS: "One thing people don’t know about me is that I’m a huge European soccer fan. I love waking up on Sundays and watching the Premier League."
