What are the expectations for Central Catholic's football team in 2019?

Karson Kennedy: "Championship or bust, nothing else will do."

Your ability to block as a tight end is phenomenal. What do you do to make yourself a better blocker?

KK: "I am blessed with a strong lower body which aids me exponentially; but blocking is primarily will power and desire. I believe that sets me apart from other tight ends and fullbacks."

Back in June, you received an offer from Valparaiso University. Does a Division 1 offer from Valparaiso, motivate you to become a better player?

KK: "Yes it does, it makes me realize that my hard work is paying off, and that drives me to work even harder to become a better player."

What do you like about attending Central Catholic?

KK: "Central Catholic forces you to mature, become independent as a young man, and prepares you for the real working world."

So, if you did not attend Central Catholic, what public high school would you have attended?

KK: "Penn Hills"

Even though the 2019 NFL season has not started, can you predict which NFL team will win the Super Bowl this season?

KK: "As much as I don’t want to say it, the New England Patriots. They are consistently in the in the mix every year."

How many days is your longest Snapchat streak?

KK: "Right now, 1,002 days."

Favorite ice cream flavor?

KK: "It’s a toss-up between Cookies and Cream and Strawberry."

Tell me something that people would be surprised to know about you.

KK: "I am a high honors student and I enjoy drawing and learning about American history."
