After losing to Lincoln Park last night, Butler lost again tonight to Beaver Falls by a score of 74-70. The Golden Tornadoes have lost their third straight game and you just have to wonder what is going on with one of the most highly expected team to win in WPIAL 6A in Butler?
After losing to New Castle last night, Central Catholic bounced back tonight by beating Nazareth Prep by a score of 85-60. Ben Sarson scored 16 points for the Vikings as the team's overall record is 6-3. So far, this season has been great for the Vikings. Last season, Central Catholic's overall record was 5-17. They already have more wins this year than they did all of last year.

Deamontae Diggs can catch a football and shoot a basketball. Diggs scored 17 points for McKeesport in a 49-47 win over Penn-Trafford. McKeesport were underdogs going into this game and they made a lot of noise today.
Rodney Gallagher scored 14 points for Laurel Highlands as his team won today against Bishop Guilfoyle by a score of 56-47. The Mustangs have won back-to-back games in back-to-back days as the win against Bishop Guilfoyle won them first place in the Greensburg Salem Tournament.

Even though Quaker basketball players, K.C. Johns and Marcus Frank both scored at least 23 points, it was not enough to beat the Indians.
